Lee is a Partner at Watson Burton specialising in Litigation and Dispute Management.

Lee graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Newcastle University and completed the Law Society Finals Exam at York before training and qualifying at Nelsons in Nottingham. He joined Watson Burton as an Associate in April 2001 and became a Partner in 2003.

Lee has practiced in the field of Litigation since qualification.

He has acted on behalf of Claimants in Group Actions involving pharmaceuticals, defective products and industrial diseases.

Lee is member of the Claimants Steering Committee which has been responsible for some 170,000 Claimants in the ongoing VWF Litigation against the DBERR. He also supervises Watson Burton’s Scheme Industrial Diseases team.

Lee’s commercial disputes practice incorporates general contract work, fraud as well as property litigation on behalf of property owners, Landlords and Tenants.

Lee has a specific interest in and leads Watson Burton’s development of alternative approaches to funding in the commercial disputes arena.
